Bart Starr (born January 9, 1934) is an American Footballer, NFL Quarterback Star Player, and Coach from Alabama. Moreover, he played on the quarterback position with Green Bay Packers (National Football League, NFL). Barr remained in the field from 1956 to 1971.

He led the victorious journey of the team in two super bowls. Additionally, he created the history being with his team for three league championships of 1965-1967. He passed around 3149 attempts as a quarterback.

In 1966, he won the League MVP award. Starr retired in 1972 and his career completion percentage 57.4. Meanwhile, he played around 196 games. Again, he joined “Green Bay Packers” as the head coach.

However, Starr died because of heart stroke on May 26, 2019, in Birmingham. In recent years, his health affected the passage of time. He had undergone several heart surgeries too. In fact, Bart could not attend the Super Bowl 50 ceremony due to his bad health.

Many top universities of US approached him. Additionally, Starr firstly considered the University of Kentucky. Bear Bryant was his coach at the university. Furthermore, he changed his mind and went to the University of Alabama.
