Clare Peploe (born in 1942) is a British Director, Screenwriter & Producer from Tanzania. As a screenwriter, she did movies like “Couples and Robbers” (1970), “La Luna” (1979) and “The Triumph of Love” (2001).
Her movie “The Triumph of Live” featured in Venice Film Festival. Then, it made it in the nominations of Golden Lion Award. Furthermore, she worked as a screenwriter with Bernardo Bertolucci.
In fact, Bernardo is an Italian filmmaker and her husband. Both of them made stylistic and periodic movies. However, Mr. Bertolucci died at the age of 77 in Rome.
Clare has released a statement to confirm his death. However, the cause of his death is cancer. On the other hand, Bernardo is popular for his movies of the 70s era.
