Don Larsen (born August 7, 1929) was a legendary American baseball player which played for Yankees. In the world series of 1956, he threw a perfect game Brooklyn Dodgers. Recently he died on 1st January 2020 at the age of 90 years. Before death, he was living in Hayden Idaho.

The famous player was born in the city of Michigan in the year 1929 (age 90 years old, as in 2019). He belonged to a Christian family. Only a few people know his full real name is Donald James Larsen.

As we came to know from some magazines Don’s parents used to work in a supermarket. The name his father is James Larsen and his mother is Charlotte Larsen.

He did his school studies from a school named Point Loma High School in San Diego, California. During school, he was a very good basketball player. He even won many scholarships from different colleges for his skills in basketball.

Once he was baseball and his skills caught the eyes of St. Louis who was Brown’s scout. He got signed for Brown’s minor team. He even got fees of $ 850 USD for playing. In one of his statements, he said he had not studied much in college.

As he grew up he started earning and according to some trusted sources we came to know that he used to throw a party every year on 7 August on the occasion of his birthday.

But in the year 1957, he divorced her and married another woman named Corrine Bruess. Don met her during a flight and Corrine was a flight attendant before marriage.

After he traveled in the flight they started dating each other and on 7 December 1957, he married Corrine. After their marriage, he got blessed with a boy and they named him Scott.

He has seen many ups and downs in his relationships. Larsen used to live a very lavish life and spent recklessly which is why he even had to take advances from his team manager.

As we all know about him that he was one of the greatest players of Baseball. He was also the living player for St. Louis. After getting spotted he joined the junior team and showed his skills over there.

In the year 1953 on April 17, he made his career debut in MLB against Detroit Tigers. After 1 month of his debut, he won the first game against Philadelphia Athletics on May 12 of the same year.

After this, he played for New York Yankees for four years from 1955-1959. After this, he played many matches and won many games for his team. As I have researched, I found that Don Larsen had a net worth of about $17 million USD, as in 2020.

When he was playing in the team New York Yankees against Brooklyn Dodgers in 1956, he gave his level best. In that match, the opponent team was not even able to make a single hit and it was a perfect game for the team.

It was one of the only 23 perfect games in the MLB history and the only one in World Series. He last appeared in an MLB game in 1967 in the month of July for Chicago Clubs.

After retirement, he did an office job for MLB and even worked for a liquor company. He started living in Hayden, Idaho.
