Luke Foley (born June 27, 1970) is an Australian Politician from Sydney, Australia. He served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of New South Wales. Furthermore, the 48-year-old leader also remained the parliamentary leader of the New South Wales branch of the Labor Party from 2015 to 2018.
He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. Moreover, Luke later resigned to fight the Legislative Assembly seat of Auburn at the 2015 New South Wales election. His full real birth name is Luke Aquinas Foley.
In addition, on November 8, 2018, the politician resigned from his post as a leader of the Labor Party. Foley accused of sexual harassment by an ABC journalist named Ashleigh Raper. The journalist released a statement in which she stated that Luke had sexually assaulted her in the past. In fact, the statement was released in October 2018.
