Early Life & Background
In the movie, Olaf was first created by the sisters during their childhood. They used to play with each other and Princess Elsa has magical powers to control and create ice & snow. In addition, their favorite pastime exercise was building snowmen.
Once Elsa helped Anna build her own snowman to play with and later Elsa named it Olaf. After Elsa accidentally hit Anna with her powers, she separated herself from her family and the world.
This emotional meltdown also causes the snowman to crumble. Many years later, Elsa recreates him after her exile from Arendelle castle. This new Olaf has a mind of his own and capable to walk & talk.
Physical Appearance & Facial Attributes
As per the source, he is an excessively outgoing, kind, optimistic, and welcoming creature. The snowman maintains the childlike playfulness that he earned from Anna and Elsa during their earliest days together.
Furthermore, Olaf stands a short height of 2′ 6″ (80 cm tall) but he borrowed a ruler from a citizen when he went with Anna and Elsa to the courtyard. Then, the snowman found out that he was 5 feet 4 inches tall.
However, a closer examination of the short movie shows that this information was not true at all. As per his body stats, he is small and divided into three balls of snow. His body has three black rocks displayed as buttons.
Olaf’s estimated body weight is around 33 lbs (15 kg) and there are two stick acts like his arms. In fact, Frozen’s character also has three twigs on his head that resemble small strands of hair. His nose is made up of a carrot.
